EStimME is dedicated to providing long-term relief from Severe Tinnitus - a chronic disturbance, perceived as an excruciating sound, (a.k.a. “ringing in the ears”) in the absence of a physical source, severely affecting 1% of the general world population (2.7 Million people in the US alone). EStimME’s solution utilizes a minimally invasive approach to the middle ear, enabling a simple and reversible procedure for implanting its miniature neurostimulation device.
Michael Vardi EStimME’s CEO remarked “At EuroMedtech 2011, we presented for the first time the preliminary results of our clinical study, lead by Dr. Ronen Perez (Head of Otology unit, Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem). The findings of the trial were very encouraging in terms of both safety and efficacy, showing a significant reduction in the perception of tinnitus with a continuous effect lasting from several hours to days and even weeks following the stimulation. We are now concluding the clinical trial and moving towards our next funding round.
