About 1% of the population requires wheelchairs for mobility. The quality of the wheelchair directly affects their quality of life is. Bodily shocks and vibrations caused by riding the wheelchair result in pain and long term skeletal damage.
The degree of such shocks for most of riding surfaces, on average, is beyond what is defined as uncomfortable levels, and above the level necessitating caution. Moreover, for particular populations, such as spinal injury patients, riding vibrations may cause special problems.
The solution developed by Softwheel is a shock-absorbing component fitted for any wheel. Installation process is simple and cheap with the option of customization.
