External support device for AV-fistulas improves care for dialysis patients
Laminate Medical has developed a device that significantly improves vascular access patency rates in hemodialysis patients, resulting in a radical improvement in their care and quality of life.

Currently, the preferred method for connecting dialysis patients to dialysis machines is through a surgically-connected artery or vein, called an arteriovenous (AV) fistula. Unfortunately, 40% of arteriovenous fistula fail within one year, becoming blocked (patency).
Laminate’s VasQ™ addresses the root cause of fistula failure, providing external support that regulates blood flow while reinforcing the perianastomotic vein.

VasQ™ has received the CE Mark and is currently marketed in Europe.
